Brave the river on the Harpers Scary Raft Trip

This October 11, 12, 18, 19, 25 & 26, starting at 4:30pm, we're thrilled to announce we are offering the Harpers Scary Raft Trip for six scary nights throughout the month of October.  Come take a chilling ride down the Shenandoah and Potomac Rivers with our skilled and ghoulish guides.  At the end of the trip, traverse the Harpers Scary Trail and encounter ghosts, goblins, and even the headless horseman!  In the event you are able to survive the trail, follow the light to the warmth of the relaxing bonfire.  The trip includes wetsuits and/or dry-tops and reservations are highly recommended as space is limited.  We look forward to scaring you there!

The Ghostly Ride

Dare to climb aboard and join us on a rafting trip through Historic Harpers Ferry. Listen as our skilled and knowledgeable guides tell tall tales of the remarkable history that has taken place in this small yet vast area. Watch in wonder as the boats pass the ruins of the lives once lived. Upon completion of the trip, we will then take you to the beautiful town of Harpers Ferry where you will partake in a walking ghost tour. The ghost tour traverses about one mile and takes about one to one and a half hours. Once you have left your skin behind in fear we will provide a ride back to our headquarters. This trip is offered Monday through Saturday beginning September 13th to October 31st. We ask you arrive at our meeting place at 1:30 in the afternoon to go rafting. You will need to bring a dry change of clothes and a pair of comfortable walking shoes.

Pricing:

• $55.00 per person* (Monday – Friday)
• $60.00 per person* (Saturday)

Reservations for this trip are required as the space for warm bodies is limited. *plus tax and fees

The Patriot Paddle

Attention! Jump aboard our raft and paddle in rhythm down the beautiful Shenandoah and Potomac Rivers. Listen to the harmony of nature as our guides describe the beauty of the river and the history of the area. After the trip we will then transport you to Historic Harpers Ferry where you can enjoy the “Free Country” U.S. Marine Band’s country ensemble at one of the best views in the area.

This trip will only be offered on Saturday, September 6th at 12:00 and reservations will be required.

Pricing:

• $54.00 which includes all tax and fees. Don’t forget!
• We always honor and respect all military personnel so be sure to request the 10% discount when you make a reservation and present your military identification upon sign-in.

If you are not in the military, this would be a great chance for you to come and offer your support to the Marine Band; it’s surely a sight (and sound) to see.

Fishing Float

Finally a chance to get away and fish! Come take a full day fishing trip with us, but only traverse the half day canoe trip length of seven miles. This allows you to cast out, sit back, and enjoy your day. Make a reservation in advance and be sure to obtain your Maryland or Virginia Fishing License. Upon arrival, show us your fishing gear and you’ll receive $10.00 off per canoe. The Fishing Float Trip will depart at 9:00 in the morning. The minimum age for this trip is 5 years old. Reserve your space early as…well… you know who gets the worm….

Foliage Float

The colors of fall can be a beautiful time of year. The migration of the wildlife creates a sense of change that can only be experienced firsthand. Watch, as you paddle downstream and imagine the leaves of gold and fire as the sun sets along the valley. Come rafting with us, for the price of $189.95 per raft (maximum of 6 people per raft), on the Shenandoah and Potomac Rivers in the late afternoon during the fall months of September and October. Listen as our experienced guides inform you of the common wildlife seen, as well as, the extensive history in the area. Be sure to book your trip soon as availability may change as quickly as the leaves.

High Water Holla’

Whether you have been rafting with us during our low-water season before or if you are looking for more of a white-knuckle whitewater rafting trip, we hope to have what you need. As the rain falls, we hope the rivers rise, and in the event the rivers do rise, to a wild and wonderful level, we can contact you to schedule a high-water rafting trip.
